Born and raised in Michigan, Ryan moved to Arizona at 17 and immediately embraced the world of business. Starting in third-party collections, Ryan spent over a decade honing skills in communication and negotiation before transitioning into sales. From newspapers to cell phones to cars, Ryan built a career selling a wide range of products before ultimately finding success in advertising sales, where he thrived for eight years.
During that time, Ryan discovered a true passion for real estate. Visiting open houses with his wife became a favorite pastime, providing endless inspiration through design choices and aesthetic details. As a real estate investor, Ryan gained firsthand experience in the power of home staging—when one of his investment properties sat on the market for over a month without offers, staging transformed the space, and within a weekend, multiple offers rolled in. That moment solidified his belief in the value of staging, not just as a tool for selling homes but as an essential service for homeowners looking to maximize their property’s potential.
In 2025, Ryan and his wife Lara launched Style and Staging, a business built on the foundation of trust, expertise, and a keen eye for design. With a commitment to delivering high-quality staging services and ensuring every home shines in its best light, Ryan is excited for the future and the opportunity to help homeowners and real estate professionals elevate their listings.
A proud Arizona native and graduate of Arizona State University, Lara holds dual business degrees but has always been driven by artistic expression. Her passion for creating has taken many forms over the years—dance and performance, jewelry design and metalworking, sewing, carpentry, and more. To her, the medium is secondary; the ability to create is paramount.
Lara’s career began in team management and entrepreneurial business, where she developed key skills in leadership, problem-solving, and client relations. These skills, combined with her creative nature and a deep respect for real estate—instilled by her grandfathers—naturally guided her toward real estate design and staging.
Her first experience with design came through her own short-term rentals, where she learned to create spaces that anticipated every need. She saw how design could shape comfort and connection, ultimately creating extraordinary experiences. This sparked her passion for design and its transformative power.
That passion led Lara to stage the homes they listed for sale, blending design with market strategy to help properties shine. She quickly realized how the right balance of quality pieces, color, texture, and layout could highlight a home’s best features and natural flow, inspiring her to offer these services to others.
Today, Lara is a licensed real estate agent and staging specialist who approaches every project with the same care and attention to detail she would give her own property. Thoughtful staging not only highlights a home’s strengths but also helps potential buyers envision their ideal lifestyle, enhancing its appeal and maximizing market potential.
